Arriva Italia travel tickets can be purchased at ticket offices and authorized resellers. It is allowed, only when it is not possible to purchase them in the designated points of sale, to purchase the ticket on board with cash or small denomination, paying the surcharge established by the Granting Body, if any.

The travel document must be validated as soon as you get on board; in case of malfunction of the validator, the traveler is required to immediately notify the driver by presenting the travel document at the same time.

The subscription title is strictly personal and is effective only for the period for which it was issued. For season tickets, the travel document must be kept intact together with the identification card issued by the company providing the service.

Travelers in possession of Regional Transport Cards issued by the Regions or free circulation documents, upon boarding the bus, must show the driver the travel document.

Travelers are required to show the travel document at each check carried out by the staff. If you are not in possession of the document or if it is found to be irregular, you will have to pay, in addition to the payment of the normal ticket at the ordinary rate, an administrative penalty provided for by the laws in force. It should be noted that the sanction is also applied in the event that the passenger is unable to show their season ticket.

The company reserves the right to take any legal action against travelers in possession of altered or inauthentic travel documents.

To make the ticket valid and not to incur the administrative sanction provided for by the laws in force, the season ticket must be accompanied by a receipt of the top-up made, so as to certify the validity of what is loaded on the electronic card, even at a first sight check. which will be confirmed by the electronic instrumentation.

All travel documents perform the function of fiscal receipt and therefore must be kept intact for the entire duration of the trip, at the descent and in the immediate vicinity, in order to allow any fiscal checks by the ascertaining bodies. These checks can be carried out both on board the vehicle and in the immediate vicinity of the stop locations.

Starting from 2013 the paper identification card is replaced with an electronic card of the new Ticketing System called BIP, that is to say a single contactless microchip ticket (contactless), which allows access to any public transport (specially equipped) , in any area of the regional territory.

On the BIP card it will be possible to load all the travel tickets of the services included in the regional mobility network, regardless of the route, the means or the transport company used.

Rates

The FORMULA Integrated Area includes Turin and a surrounding area that extends for about 40 km in the Metropolitan City of Turin.

Turin: Indicated with the letter U (urban area) and is valid for 2 areas.

First belt of Turin: Indicated with the letter A.

Outermost areas: Each marked with a letter of the alphabet.

Area Vasta Pinerolo called PIN: Including Pinerolo and the Municipalities of Buriasco, Cantalupa, Frossasco, Macello, Osasco, Prarostino, Roletto, San Pietro Val Lemina, San Secondo, indicated with the letter I and is valid for 2 areas. The pass valid in the PIN area allows you to use the urban service of the city of Pinerolo and all the connections offered between the municipalities belonging to the area.

To facilitate those who reach the Metropolitan City of Turin on a daily basis from other locations in the Piedmont Region (or vice versa) outside the integrated area, there are connections with the EXTRA.TO lines called “expansions”.

For those coming from the “expansions”, the Municipalities of access to the integrated area are called “port localities”. Those who travel on the “expansions” without going beyond the “port locality” do not use Formula but the normal subscriptions of the individual companies. On the other hand, those who pass the “port locality” use Formula: on the stretch of expansion the season ticket is valid only for the chosen carrier.

Season ticket

These passes allow the use, in the selected areas, of the lines of the transport companies adhering to the Formula integrated system.

Validity: valid for one year from the month of issue. It must be accompanied by an identification document.

SUBSCRIPTION FORM ANNUAL FORMULA (12 months)

These passes allow the use, in the selected areas, of the lines of the transport companies adhering to the Formula integrated system.

Validity: season ticket valid from 1st September to 30th June. Reserved for students up to 25 years of age. It must be accompanied by an identification document and, for students aged 15 to 25, by a suitable document proving enrollment in the school.

SUBSCRIPTION FORM MULTI-MONTHLY STUDENT FORMULA (10 school months)

These passes allow the use, in the selected areas, of the lines of the transport companies adhering to the Formula integrated system. They must be validated at the start of the first race.
Validity: personal passes valid in the areas corresponding to the route chosen at the time of purchase. The validity period is predefined, that is, at the time of purchase, you must specify in which month you intend to use the subscription. It is not possible to use the subscription in a period other than that indicated to the reseller. It is necessary to ask the retailer for the receipt to verify the correctness of the purchase.
Validated by the 27th, they are valid for the current month; validated from day 28, they are valid until the end of the following month. On Trenitalia trains they are entitled to 2nd class.
