Arriva Italia travel tickets can be purchased at ticket offices and authorized resellers. It is allowed, only when it is not possible to purchase them in the designated points of sale, to purchase the ticket on board with cash or small denomination, paying the surcharge established by the Granting Body, if any.

The travel document must be validated as soon as you get on board; in case of malfunction of the validator, the traveler is required to immediately notify the driver by presenting the travel document at the same time.

The subscription title is strictly personal and is effective only for the period for which it was issued. For season tickets, the travel document must be kept intact together with the identification card issued by the company providing the service.

Travelers in possession of Regional Transport Cards issued by the Regions or free circulation documents, upon boarding the bus, must show the driver the travel document.

Travelers are required to show the travel document at each check carried out by the staff. If you are not in possession of the document or if it is found to be irregular, you will have to pay, in addition to the payment of the normal ticket at the ordinary rate, an administrative penalty provided for by the laws in force. It should be noted that the sanction is also applied in the event that the passenger is unable to show their season ticket.

The company reserves the right to take any legal action against travelers in possession of altered or inauthentic travel documents.

To make the ticket valid and not to incur the administrative sanction provided for by the laws in force, the season ticket must be accompanied by a receipt of the top-up made, so as to certify the validity of what is loaded on the electronic card, even at a first sight check. which will be confirmed by the electronic instrumentation.

All travel documents perform the function of fiscal receipt and therefore must be kept intact for the entire duration of the trip, at the descent and in the immediate vicinity, in order to allow any fiscal checks by the ascertaining bodies. These checks can be carried out both on board the vehicle and in the immediate vicinity of the stop locations.

Starting from 2013 the paper identification card is replaced with an electronic card of the new Ticketing System called BIP, that is to say a single contactless microchip ticket (contactless), which allows access to any public transport (specially equipped) , in any area of the regional territory.

On the BIP card it will be possible to load all the travel tickets of the services included in the regional mobility network, regardless of the route, the means or the transport company used.

REGIONAL TARIFF SYSTEM

The single journey sections and all services extraneous to the Formula integrated system refer to the fare system for Local Public Transport in force in the Metropolitan City of Turin which is divided into “kilometric bands”. The Piedmont Region has identified a five-kilometer charging system, organized in 17 brackets, with tariff changes every 5 km (for the bands from 0 km to 50 km), every 10 km (for the bands from 50.1 km to 100 km ) and every 25 km (for the bands from 100.1 km to 150 km).

The types of tickets entitle you to make only one journey on the route corresponding to the type of fare purchased and are valid from the moment they are validated on board the bus. The journey must be continuous.

Regional fare ticket

They are the most used type and are issued through the mechanical or electronic issuers supplied to retailers.

It is used by the traveling staff to regularize passengers without tickets in the event of a malfunction of the ticket machine

It is valid for 20 trips to be carried out within 60 days from the date of the first validation.

Other types

Each traveler, in possession of a travel document, can bring a small pet with him provided that a device has been applied to make it harmless (muzzle, leash, cages, boxes, etc.).

The transport of animals accompanied by the purchase of a single ticket reduced by 50% of the current rate.

Tickets for transporting animals cannot be purchased on board.

Guide dogs for the blind are allowed to travel for free unless the blind person is assisted by a companion who is entitled to travel for free.

Each traveler can carry only one piece of luggage free of charge as long as the dimensions do not exceed cm. 50x30x25; for any additional baggage and for those exceeding the aforementioned dimensions, a single travel ticket must be purchased, reduced by 50% of the current fare.

Travel tickets for luggage transport cannot be purchased on board.

To take advantage of free circulation, law enforcement officers must present themselves to the driver showing their personal identification card or badge belonging to the Corps and the Free Movement Travel Document for the Armed Forces loaded on the BIP card (all information on the BIP website) ; if necessary, they must provide assistance to staff in cases of ascertaining the identity of passengers who are not in compliance with travel regulations and intervene to restore public order.

It is valid for the week in which it was purchased, for an unlimited number of trips (including holidays).

Multi-monthly Student and Annual Subscription

The applicant must present himself at one of the Arriva Italia – Turin offices (Turin Autostazione, Susa, Pont St. Martin or Pinerolo) with a valid identity document and a passport photo. At the time of the request, the interested party must make the payment for the entire amount of the desired document, by delivering the completed application form in block capitals. Attention: we remind you that the forms must be brought directly to the aforementioned offices of Arriva Italia; faxes, e-mails or letters will not be considered valid.

It is valid from 1 September to 30 June of the following year for an unlimited number of trips (including holidays).
