BIP / Pyou Card

One or more travel tickets, tickets and season tickets can be loaded onto the BIP Card (urban, extra-urban, railway, Formula, annual, monthly, weekly passes, carnet, car shating, bike sharing, …).

At each trip, it will be necessary to validate the smart card when boarding the vehicle by bringing the card close to the appropriate reader located near the access to the service and descent. An acoustic signal will clearly indicate that the card has been validated; a double signal will indicate that the subscription or credit is not valid, as the on-board system is able to independently validate the subscription and recognize if the service is being used on the route provided for by the subscription.

The BIP Card costs € 5.00 and has a duration of four years.

It is issued for users aged 0 to 14 and / or over 30.

A special card called Pyou Card has been prepared for young people between 15 and 29 years old.

The Pyou Card is the card equivalent to the BIP that the Piedmont Region has prepared for young people between 15 and 29 years old, resident or domiciled in the region, issued at a cost of € 5.00.

Furthermore, thanks to the culture commission and the territorial conventions, the Pyou Card adds cultural, sporting, leisure, training and more offers offered throughout the region to the BIP’s mobility services.

Customers who are not yet in possession of the BIP card or the PYOU Card must promptly purchase it:

• Directly online by filling out the Online Form at the bottom of the page
• Directly at the Arriva Italia offices (immediate delivery of the smart card)
  Pinerolo – C.so Torino, 396 booking request through the Arriva portal
  Susa – Via dell’Artigianato, 5 (by appointment)
  Turin Bus Station Ticket Office Extrato – C.so Bolzano ang. Via Grattoni
• By contacting the depots by filling in a specific form (with delivery of the smart card within 20 days at the same depot)
  • Perosa Argentina – Loc. San Sebastiano (by appointment)
  • Pont Saint Martin – Via Cascine, 5 (by appointment)
  • Grugliasco – Via della Repubblica, 14

At authorized resellers equipped with a POS terminal, by filling in a specific form (with home delivery of the smart card about 20 days from the date of receipt of the form by Arriva Italia).

To request the smart card you need the following documents:

• A valid identification document (if the card holder is a minor, the parent’s identification document is also required):
  • Direct Purchase -> a front / back photocopy of the document
  • Purchase Via Form -> a duplex scan of the document
• Passport photo
  • Direct Purchase -> immediate scan
  • Purchase Through Form -> scan the photo in digital format (jpg)

For those who already have a BIP / Pyou Card, as it is issued by Formula or other companies participating in the project, it does not require a new purchase of the same, but it is still required to show up at a Arriva Italia point to load the Arriva Italia subscription.

For those who already have a Pyou Card, but not personalized with name, surname and photograph, in order to use it as a transport identification card, they must necessarily personalize it:

• By filling in the Green form and ticking on the back of the form “I already have Pyou”
• Paying the administration fees for customization of € 5.00

You will then be contacted by the transport company and called directly to customize your card.

For users in possession of an annual student pass or a different one still in paper format, they can request to load their subscription on the personal BIP card (or Pyou Card) at the Arriva italia deposits in Grugliasco, Pinerolo, Susa.
